As our journey continues I have in part come to understand the camaraderie felt by most people in the armed forces. The men and women I travel with on today's journey are good soldiers all.
In the photo above this is what we saw over and over again, senior veterans showing their support by suiting up to come out and salute the troops. Here Magdaleno Velasco of Beeville, a Korean War veteran, saluted the flag as it passed.
