a little extra so that I might take the kids away on a short Winter vacation. After reading this article concerning the status of this country's national security as viewed by members of The 9/11 Commission, I see that cost is not the only thing I should be concerned about.
The five Republicans and five Democrats on the commission, whose recommendations are now promoted through a privately funded group known as the 9/11 Public Discourse Project, conclude that the government deserves "more Fs than As" in responding to their 41 suggested changes.
"It's not a priority for the government right now," said the former chairman, Thomas Kean.
Okay Washington folks, time to do the job we pay you to do! We lost way too many people the last time to allow this governement to forget. It's true! We still have so much work to do!
