I too wish to express my condolences to the Salinas family.

I was brought up to respect my elders, more importantly one's parents, as i'm sure many of you were too.

A friend who attended Mr. Salinas' rosary/funeral was appalled to see so many individuals wearing J.D. Salinas shirts, tags and displaying large signs at such a somber gathering. In fact, she swears she saw Mrs. J.D. Salinas, III wearing one of her husband's campaign tags on her dress.

Politics is politics, but people should show respect for the deceased and not have the rosary/funeral turn out to be some political function.

How very sad and in such poor taste!

I heard tha same thing!

Shame on JD for this. They even had yardsigns at the funeral home.

It's one thing to respect your elders, but to disrespect your own father?

I've lost all respect this guy, and this guy has lost my vote!
