PAC Seeks to Unseat Republicans who Opposed School Vouchers

As I noted in an earlier post the AP is reporting on James Leininger's political action committee that gave nearly $700,000 last month to the Republican primary opponents of five state House members who fought school voucher proposals during last year's legislative session.

The political action committee made in-kind contributions of advertising and mailings to primary opponents of Reps. Carter Casteel, R-New Braunfels; Tommy Merritt, R-Longview; Roy Blake Jr., R-Nacogdoches; Delwin Jones, R-Lubbock; and Charlie Geren, R-Fort Worth.

Independence -- Texans once valued that quality. I'm sorry that some no longer feel that way. A wise man once told me, vote your district son and you will be alright. That was good advice!

I thought this might be the case.
What are the facts concerning this?
