"Let Me Go To The House of The Father"

I have long admired the life of Pope John Paul II. With his last words he remained faithful to his beliefs. A new book by the Pope's longtime personal physician recounts the pontiff's final days and minutes. John Paul died after slipping into a coma two hours earlier. Dr. Renato Buzzonetti in his book "Let me go," refers to the pope's final words.

"Let me go to the house of the Father," uttered in Polish were the last words of Pope John Paul II. A life well lived to the very end.

Even though I am baptist, visiting the Vatican a few months ago was simply incredible.

I have the upmost respect for John Paul, great man.

Thanks for the heads up about the book.

Does anyone know where this book can be purchased from? I've been looking for ever since it was mentioned on Good Morning America several weeks ago. Thanks! Mary

The book "Let Me Go To The Father" was released in Italy on 3/15/06. You can probably find it at an Italian bookstore online. I believe it's written in Italian.
