R.G. Ratcliffe on the Chronicles Texas Politics blog notes the irony of the anniversary date of April 6 amid the current debate in Congress to slow the tide of Mexicans immigrants illegally pouring into the United States. It seems that on that date in 1830 the Mexican Congress tried to stem the growing tide of immigrants into Mexican territories, primarily Texas. It further prohibited these United States "illegal immigrants" from importing blacks into Mexican territory. Hmmm!

Darn, won't people learn that the politically correct term is not illegal aliens. It is UNDOCUMENTED.
The term is correct "ILLEGAL ALIENS", They have broken our laws and have come into the the United States illegally.
They are illegals! Would you allow anyone who wants to move into your home illegally without permission to demand what they will from you or protest if you don't give them what they demand?
I'm an immigrant. The term is correct!
