"Young LBJ" that's what I sometimes jokingly call Rep. Ryan Guillen (D-Rio Grande City) who at the age of 29 holds one of the highest positions in the Texas House of Representatives. Some people underestimate the political skills and drive of the young representative but if they do so they do so to their disadvantage. I snapped this photo one late night at the capitol on an unsuspecting Guillen in a hurry to someplace. I think it captures the young Aggie. The Brownsville Herald carries a feature of the representative.
