Chamber Music: "Lon is Risen"

The Dallas Morning News' Chamber Music notes the events of Easter:

"Stop the presses. Rep. Lon Burnam, whose ultra-liberal agenda usually goes precisely nowhere in the Republican-run House, has managed to spring himself from purgatory just in time for the Easter weekend. The Fort Worth Democrat calls it a "Holy Week miracle."

"... Mr. Burnam hasn't been able to get a single bill onto the House floor. But this week, the Calendars Committee that decides such things set his bill offering tax holidays for appliances designated as energy efficient by the feds."

Although some may speculate that it was "D-vine intervention" that got this bill to the House floor, the real credit belongs to the merit contained in this good piece of legislation. I strongly advise it's passage. Good work Lon!
