Four months ago I was asked to participate by delivering the keynote address at the crime victims exposition recognizing victim advocates, law enforcement, as well as those harmed by criminal activity. The successful event, which coincided with National Crime Victims' Rights Week, was a first of this size for South Texas. My congratulations to all the participants and organizers who were present at the McAllen Convention Center. Your efforts on this worthy cause are greatly appreciated.

I want to thank you for attending the victims rights conference. My daughter was raped at 12 years old. Your words made a difference to us. We had given up thinking that our elected leaders did not care. Thanks for giving us hope.
Your comments are greatly appreciated. This was a worthy event that should be continued each and every year. I was more than happy to be a part of it. May God bless you and your daughter.
You are a great American. Thanks for your service and for recognizing those concerned with protecting the rights of crime victims.
Hi! I was blog-hopping when I saw your blog. It's interesting to know that there are public officials who can maintain a blog that allows other people to know your insights on a lot of matter.
I think you are an interesting public official, unlike most officials we have in the Philippines (yeah, I'm a Filipino).
Maybe I would visit your site often. Would you mind if I include your blog in my link list?
Thanks. Continue being such a service-oriented official.
You have a few nut cases out there from the far fringes of your party. This citizen appreciates your vote against the voter id bill and your work in supporting the victims of crime. Keep up the good work! Hate is so easy an emotion. Understanding is wisdom.
