"Power of Connectivity Conference" at UTPA

I had the pleasure to participate in the "Power of Connectivity Conference" held at the University of Texas - Pan American. The conference explored the issues confronting us with the growth of the Internet. As described the purpose of the conference was to:

"... convene national leaders in the technology field to tell business owners, community leaders and parents about the promise of a connected world, how to tap into it, and how to protect yourself, your family and your business."

The subject matter was certainly informative and I was pleased to have the conference in the district. Like any powerful tool we need to harness the good and minimize the negative. I look forward to continued discussions.
