Today I make my way to the state capitol to participate in my work on the Joint Select Committee on the Operation and Management of the Texas Youth Commission. The select committee will meet today April 16, at 10:00 a.m. in the Senate Finance Committee Room in E1.036. We are expected to hear invited and public testimony on the progress of the implementation of Senate Bill 103.
The Criminal Justice Legislative Oversight Committee which will be joining us will afterwards hear invited testimony on the implementation of Senate Bill 909 and House Bill 1. The hearing will likely be viewable via the Internet.
